Victor Balogun (Ph.D., MSc., B.Tech., B.Ed.)
Dr. Victor Balogun is a Cybersecurity researcher and educator with robust interdisciplinary expertise in secure distributed systems, privacy-preserving AI, edge and fog computing, and intelligent transportation systems. He has proven record of high-impact research supported by federal and provincial agencies, including projects addressing vulnerable populations, real-time safety systems, and ethical AI deployment. Extensive experience in mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, curriculum development, and intersectoral collaboration across academia, government, and industry. He has taught in several Universities including University of Manitoba and the Applied Computer Science Department of the University of Winnipeg, Manitoba, where he is currently a Faculty member.
